Beach Trip number two

I can't believe it has been two days. I am typing this at 4:22 am though because my mother was just in the Emergency Care. We finally figured out that she has Diverticulitis. It basically means she can't eat any large or small seeds because then they just get stuck and then her colon swells. She is now on two medicines until it goes away. I feel bad for her because she already cannot eat/drink so many other foods and to tackle another obstacle  is challenging.

But moving onto the bright side, my sister, brother and I went to the beach and stayed there for two hours. The weather had tremendously gone done from 103 degrees on Thursday to 85 degrees on Friday. The water was very nice still. And for some reason I can't at first go in the water alone because my heart starts racing and I think to much. I have this fear that I can't escape. However, if I go in with someone and there are other strangers around me then I am completely happy and fine. I guess I just want to be safe and in one piece. Ha ha, maybe it's from watching too many shark shows on T.V..

Katrina and I haven't spoken in a good few months so we did that. We talked about her job and her new dating partner, Michael. Things seems to be struggling with them already and they aren't boyfriend/girlfriend. But it's all about the journey-meeting new people and seeing what works with each other. Who we are as a person shapes who we want in our other half. It's good to have a lot in common because then it's easier to fall into a relationship based on friendship not just charisma and romance. Then she asked me about my new boyfriend. She asked me all these questions one of which struck me. I forget exactly what she asked but basically it was, "Why do you like him?" I love him because he let's me be me. I don't have to hide from him. He loves me for all that I am, and that's all I can ask for. Oh and he tells me I'm beautiful and tells me all these compliments and he spoils me with love all the time. I miss feeling love. I miss feeling the attention. I am loving every second that I am talking and being with him. I really do love him even with all the small things. He is perfect in every way. :)

Later, I took pictures of a mama duck and her four adorable ducklings. There also was a beautiful swan there that loved the attention I was giving him. After that I played with the two dogs, Gio, Pibé. I cannot get enough of them. I read The Hunger Games for a bit and then took a two hour nap. By the time I woke up it was time to go and eat. I didn't want to at first, but my amazing boyfriend convinced me otherwise. I cannot wait to see him on Sunday evening when we return! Anyway, we went to The Dead Dog and I took some photographs of my surroundings and of the family. In memory of all dogs that have passed from this earth, people put up photographs onto the wall. I have an image of so many photos in frames. And for dinner I got a Ribeye (Mmmmmmmmm) and delicious onion rings. We all tried there hush puppies with cinnamon butter and it was a fatty yummy treat. I enjoyed talking to my boyfriend throughout the night. And it was funny as he got drunk he started getting sensitive and spoke really fast. Too fast because he slurred his words a lot, but he was adorable and I cannot wait to see him Monday. :)

So that was the evening. We didn't get to go Mini golfing, but we will go tomorrow (June 15). My mom should feel better by the evening. Fingers crossed and prayers answered. Please. Alright well I think I might read a bit more and then sleep forever until the sun wakes me.

Night world. Oh and by the way, I am having a really great day Jeff! ;)

Beach day number one

My day started off by waking up to a bad dream that involved a creepy old man that spied on my mother and I while we were sleeping. I briefly saw Jeff disappear into a room across from us, but I was too afraid to walk over to be with him. Instead, I just slept with my mother and when awoke I was actually snuggled close to her. I guess my interpretation of this would be in reality, I was afraid of meeting someone who I have never met and spending time with them. But now that I have spent the day with my family and Lucho I am happy to say that he is a very funny and nice man.

We first went to the beach for two hours and in that time my shoulders and my upper chest got red even though I put on tons of sun screen! I ended up going into the water twice and enjoyed staying in there for a good hour all together. At first I was afraid, but once Lucho went with me I was fine and wanted to stay in there forever! The water was nice and warm and at one point I even saw a dolphin jump from the water into the air and back in so close to where I was. But my water outing ended when they called everyone out of the water because someone saw a shark. Oh well, it was good while it lasted. :)

Then we came back home and Lucho had made my himself, my sister and me Margaritas---they were delicious. But then he proceeded to try and make me take a shot which I did not want to do so he took the shot for me ha ha. Everyone went to their rooms- Serge and Alex watched the O.C. series, Lucho and his dogs slept, my mother went to the Vitamin Shoppe and I played the Sims3 and have four children with a lovely home and an amazing husband.. Even if it's just in a game :)

And even though I wasn't hungry we ended up going to The Key West Grill. I got a Salmon and fried plantain (which are bananas fried) and barely had any of it because I got full too quickly. We decided to walk around because we were in a touristy place. There were lots of new and interesting places and things to do there and even though some of it was cheesy I wanted to do it anyway. But we didn't because Alex and Serge were being lazy. Another day perhaps. Anyway, one of the first things I saw that was odd and stupid was this little machine that you could pay 25 cents for a handful a fish pellets. I looked over the edge and saw a lot of huge fat fish surfacing for food. It was too weird to see and talk about unhealthy for the fish. They get fat and die- what kind of life is that?  I also saw the fast small boat that you could pay to ride in and they would go around in the water really fast and do a bunch of tricks-seemed like fun. AND I also saw that you could go for a helicopter ride for $20 which I still want to do! My sister, Lucho and I got Ben and Jerry's ice cream and surprisingly Alex paid for all three of us (Which was very nice). I got chocolate fudge brownie and coffee flavored icecream. While we were walking the wind decided to blow it right into the ice cream and so for the remainder of the night my hair was sticky, but it was worth it. The ice cream tasted delicious.

But we are finally back home and relaxing under a fan. When I hit the bed I instantly felt tired and want to sleep soon. Tonight I think... No, I know I will sleep better tonight. And tomorrow we might even go into Charleston and go antique shopping and they were also thinking about going Miniture golfing too. We'll see what happens.

Driving to Myrtle Beach

So far, our trip has gone smoothly. We had to stop and get gas in Virginia. We were waiting to turn left and it seemed never ending just to turn with all the cars across the way. A truck was first In line. What made me want to write this post was because when the truck turned he stopped right in the middle of the road to let us cars pass! Be thankful for all the small insignificant things in life.

However, the next part was funny and yet uncomfortable. After leaving the bathroom I paid for my things, and just as a was opening the doors to outside this African American man said, "wait! I wanted to get the door for you." I smiled politely and continued my walk to the car. I heard him whisper "damn".  And then he said, "you are beautiful" but I just continued walking. Then he said, "did you hear what I said?" And I said yes and entered the car. I was going to say I had a boyfriend but thought better of it. That would start a conversation I didn't want. The uncomfortable was he just stood out front of the car and started a cigarette. I avoided eye contact until he went away. And thing was he didn't say it in a bad way. He was polite himself. But back in the day I would like the attention. But now that I have a boyfriend that loves me and gives me all the attention in the world I don't want or need that of strangers.

No matter what may happen along the way I am reinsured of what I love in life. :)

Enough Already

I love this boy already. I have already said yes to loving him. And  I feel happy  just being next to him. A little too happy.. But lol, if he is who he says he is then I will  have an amazing life with him and all that he does.. Although I may feel cautious and I may feel distant I am a trust worthy person to be with.... With  all that I encounter.. I love him

Home is Wherever I'm with You

So last night I finally told Jeff that I am falling in love with him. It took a lot of courage to say. But it's true, I am. I know he loves me even if he doesn't say it. I can feel it. But part of me is afraid of starting this new journey with someone who could be my one and only. I don't know why I am like this. Afraid to be me. Maybe I'm just in shock from finally finding the one that I'm afraid to move too fast. But I do love talking to him and spending days together where we barely   anything. Just snuggling on this bed, listening to calming music and being together is what I love to do. :) and even when I am in New York I can't stop thinking about him, about us, about us in the future, about wanting children. Which is so weird to think that when we only just met May 29. June 5 we declared for the world that we are together and I already I want my life to start with him.

In such a small amount of time I already know I want to spend the rest of my life with him. But I'm afraid to tell him any of this because I don't want to move fast with this one.
