So I had an amazing time at Serge S. house and the New Jersey Retreat. It was a great vacation away from the family. There is so much to explain. And every time I want to explain my happenings I always have to get off of the computer. It really sucks. But right now I'll try to get as much as I can on here.
Thursday of last week we met up at a halfway point in Pa.- which is in the middle of no where!- and had some food at an Old Inn. I didn't like the food to much, but that's okay. At least the people there were nice. Anyway, my mother and he were the talkers mostly. I stayed hidden behind my mass of hair. After a two hour talking and eating dinner, the evening came to an end for some people. For others like us, we had to travel home. My mother said good byes to both Serge and me, and we departed together.
While in the car, we talked about random things. We started doing that 100 question game. But since we weren't counting, we just started asking random questions when we could think of them and talked about other stuff in between. I was the DJ in his car as I played a variety of different music. I was surprised about how much he and I had in common in regards to music. He danced, as well as sang for me in the car. I was amused. It was funny. It was great even.
We arrived at his house in NJ. When I entered the home, it looked almost like the last time I saw it, but it changed a little bit. They seemed to have updated some of the rooms. I stayed in Serge's brother's room I believe. He had a total of three amazing cats and a dog. The dog was a lab and a beagle mix, and she was very cute and energetic. We watched 2 and a 1/2 movies... It was fun. After staying up till 3:30 in the morning talking, we finally departed to our rooms.
The next day I woke up at 8 am and knowing that I slept for only a little bit, I slept for an hour more. Two cats were on my bed and on top of me. I got up and started putt-sing around the room. I was a little afraid of going out of the bedroom and out into the halls and rooms of two people i haven't met yet. The dad and the house maid. I decided then to get dressed, make-up on, socks on and teeth brushed with-in the hour. I texted him if he were done sleeping and he replied I'll meet you up stairs in the kitchen in 20 minutes.
Twenty minutes later I saw him. He asked what would you like for breakfast? I didn't care. I like anything. He was the morning chef and made eggs, bacon, and toast. For the drinks we ventured and tried grape juice... Dun dun dun.. You know how you were a small child and you had grape medicine. And now every time you have a grape type of juice it tastes like the grape medicine? Well that's almost a lie. This one almost tasted like nasty grape medicine, but since it was very grapey it was actually pretty tasty. While I was waiting for the food to arrive I added lemonade to the grape juice, played with the dog, watched as the snow fell (as it did on and off that day) and talked to him. The food was simply delicious! Mmmmmmmmm... His back yard has a lake. and the lake was frozen solid, so we went ice skating. It's been a while since I ice skated.
I was freaked out at first, cause going on a lake that's frozen is not what I do every day. It was scary, but adventurous.
To be continued... sorry guys...
