June 24, 2013

I stayed the night at Jeff's place and as always he showered me with morning kisses. :)

It was time for my first tattoo ever. I had been trying to figure out what my tattoo should be of. It had to have meaning and be special to me. When my dad passed away three years ago May 25 I knew I wanted one. So I started asking my art friends if they could help draw/ paint up some symbols that represented my dad. All of them were not what I wanted to have on my body forever until November 2012. I had painted myself a simple tree and out dangling on the branch was a heart. Hovering over the branches says, "Only the outline remains." I knew then that I wanted to get something like this done. The new semester came and with that a new friend named Kaitlyn. She is a painting major and I actually knew her sister briefly. We started to become very good friends. I told her about my tattoo idea and said I wanted one that looked like a watercolor. I found these tattoo to be more intriguing because it looks like watercolor, not like a black lined stenciled in tattoo. I didn't want that kind of look, not for this tattoo at least.
